Zaidat Ibrahim– Co-Founder & Director
Zaidat is a highly driven young lady. She is passionate about healthcare, education and youth empowerment. She is a graduate from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts and currently works at Massachusetts General Hospital. She will begin her Masters in Health Policy & Management at University of California, Berkeley in August 2017. In the past, she has worked at Opportunity Desk, ConnectMed South Africa and volunteered for several NGOs in Africa through the United Nations Volunteering.

Tebo Molosiwa– Co-founder & Southern Africa Lead
Tebo is a current Masters in International Economics and Finance candidate a Johns Hopkins University SAIS where she is exploring the relationship between changes in laws on women’s financial inclusion. Prior to graduate school Tebo worked on Capitol Hill and The Advisory Board Company. Her goal is to travel to all 54 African countries.

Zahra Adahman– Co-Founder & Social Media Lead
Zahra Adahman is a young African professional woman born and bred in Nigeria. She currently works full-time as a researcher in the biomedical field specifically ‘Neuropathology’. She is passionate about self-improvement in all aspects of life. YAWN is platform where she is able to contribute and extend her passion to help other young African women work on their quest of self-improvement in the professional facet.
Zahra’s philosophy: There’s NO elevator to success, you will have to take the stairs or even climb.
